Bluffton, SC (June 14, 2024) – The Bluffton Township Fire District (BTFD) proudly announces its collaboration with OneBlood, a local non-profit organization, to host a crucial blood drive tailored specifically for first responders. With the last joint effort dating back to 2015, this initiative aims to rally the local community and first responder agencies for a strong turnout.
“As first responders, we understand the critical role a consistent blood supply plays in life-saving emergencies,” stated Public Information Officer, Stephen Combs. “This blood drive represents a great opportunity for us to positively impact the health and well-being of our community. Whether you’re a seasoned donor or contemplating your first contribution, your generosity is invaluable. Every blood type is urgently needed.”
Mark your calendars for Friday, June 21st, as the blood drive unfolds from 9 AM to 3 PM at 19 Ulmer Road, Bluffton SC 29910. BTFD eagerly anticipates your participation!
