Course Description

The Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers course is an American Heart Association (AHA)-certified training designed for healthcare professionals who need to respond to life-threatening emergencies in both in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.

This hands-on, instructor-led course teaches participants how to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide high-quality CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking effectively and safely. It is ideal for EMTs, nurses, physicians, dental professionals, and other medical personnel.

The Initial Provider Course takes approximately 4.5 hours to complete and includes both skills practice and testing.
