Whether responding to breaking news or supporting community education efforts, our Public Information Officer (PIO) plays a vital role in connecting the Fire District with the public.
What We Do
The Public Information Officer:
- Serves as the main media contact for BTFD
- Prepares and distributes all official news releases
- Coordinates interview and media requests
- Organizes press conferences and media events
- Manages BTFD’s social media platforms
- Assists with public presentations and outreach projects
We aim to provide fair, accurate, and timely information in a professional manner.
