Station 38 is home to Engine 338, Squad 38, and Battalion 38, and also serves as the location of the Bluffton Township Fire District’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC). Strategically designed to support both daily emergency response and large-scale incident coordination, this modern facility enhances the district’s operational capabilities.
The station officially opened its doors on September 5, 2020, following a groundbreaking ceremony on September 30, 2019. The 10,534-square-foot facility was constructed at a total project cost of $3,493,918. Its design includes upgraded living quarters, operational spaces, and EOC infrastructure, ensuring Station 38 is well-equipped to support both local emergencies and district-wide coordination when needed.
