Bluffton, SC (December 1, 2025) — The Bluffton Township Fire District is officially launching its annual holiday celebration, “Christmas with the Fire District,” a monthlong series of family traditions that bring the community together each December.
Beginning Monday, Dec. 1, Santa and Mrs. Claus will start their annual tour of Bluffton-area neighborhoods aboard a decorated fire engine, entering the first neighborhood each evening between 5:30 and 6:00 p.m. The Santa Truck, a longtime community favorite, will continue its 12-night route Mondays through Thursdays leading up to Christmas.
Nightly updates about Santa’s route and approximate times will be posted each morning by 11 a.m. on the Fire District’s social media outlets. If inclement weather threatens to impact the nightly Santa Truck route, the Fire District will announce any cancellations no later than 3 p.m. that day. Due to the large number of neighborhoods visited each season, any canceled nights will likely not be rescheduled.

- The 12 Days of Christmas Santa Truck, including route information and tracking links.
- Letters to Santa, with North Pole mailboxes available at all nine fire stations.
- The Town of Bluffton’s Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting, where Santa will arrive atop one of the Fire District’s fire engines.
“It is a joy for the Fire District to participate in these annual traditions,” said Stephen Combs, Public Information Officer. “We are honored that Santa has asked us to escort him and Mrs. Claus, bringing the joy of the holidays to young and old alike.”
