Operations Reports

This summary graphic provides a general overview of the types of calls to which the Fire District responds. The full Operational reports provide greater details and incident analysis by type and district, response time report and heat map, and call volume heat map. (See monthly PDF reports at the bottom of this page)

• Medical calls = Medical assists, EMS calls, vehicle collisions with injuries, vehicle vs. pedestrian collisions, and motor vehicle collisions without injuries (NFIRS Codes 311-324)
• Rescue calls = Lock-ins, searches for lost people, extrications from buildings and vehicles, removing people from stalled elevators, trench rescues, confined space rescues, high angle rescues, extrication of people from machinery, water rescues, electrical rescues, and standby for rescue or EMS (NFIRS Codes 331-381)
• Fire calls = Structure fires, vehicle fires, vegetation fires, rubbish fires, special outside fires, and crop fires (NFIRS Codes 100-173)
• HazMat calls = Combustible/flammable spills & leaks, chemical release/reaction/toxic condition, radioactive conditions, electrical wiring/equipment problems, biological hazards, explosive hazards, and illegal burning (NFIRS Codes 411-482)
• Service calls = Person in distress, water problem, smoke problem, animal problem/rescue, public service assistance, unauthorized burning, and station standbys for coverage (NFIRS Codes 511-571)

Additional call information not reported in the monthly graphics include such things as calls that are canceled while personnel are en route, good intent calls, false alarms/calls, severe weather/natural disaster responses, and other non-specific incidents (NFIRS Codes 611-911).
